Music Vault Unlocks Concert Videos on YouTube

Music Vault, a repository of live music performances, is unlocking 12,000 concert videos on YouTube — including performances by such classic acts as Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, James Brown and Bruce Springsteen. Music Vault spent the last two years restoring and remastering thousands of tapes from its archives. The YouTube channel, which launched in April, now boasts some 2,000 hours worth of live concert footage, including Carlos Santana’s 1970 performance of “Evil Ways” at Tanglewood and a full concert video of Stevie Ray Vaughn from 1985.
