SRI International spun off another venture on Thursday, a sort of Siri for business called Kasisto. The product enables companies to integrate their own branded virtual personal assistants within apps, helping consumers navigate complex tasks through a conversational artificial intelligence program. The Menlo Park, Calif., research powerhouse previously developed and spun off Siri, which was a standalone app before Apple bought it in 2010 and baked it into its mobile operating system.
